DATAWORDS BECOMES THE GROUP 87SECONDS:
A NEW NAME TO CONNECT
BRANDS WITH THE WORLD

Datawords Group today announces that it is changing its name to 87seconds. For 27 years, the Group has helped the world's leading brands create, deploy and manage content at a global scale, combining human expertise, proprietary technologies and artificial intelligence. Today, it is adopting a name that reflects the scale of that ambition.

87. AND EVERYTHING THOSE TWO NUMBERS
SAY ABOUT THE WORLD.

87seconds is not a name chosen at random. It embodies both a cultural belief and a strong business ambition.

In Asia, 8 is a symbol of prosperity. In the West, 7 is associated with luck. 8 and 7 together: two worlds, two cultures, one name. It reflects what the Group has always been: a bridge between East and West, helping brands connect with audiences across cultures and markets around the world.

87seconds is also a measure of time, reflecting one of the biggest challenges brands face today: capturing and sustaining attention.

The name builds on the belief that has guided the Group from the beginning: Everyone Matters. Every culture, every market, every audience and every platform matters. And so does every second it takes to reach them.

CREATE, DEPLOY, MANAGE:
ONE GROUP, THREE PILLARS

As part of this name change, 87seconds is clarifying its organization around three complementary areas of expertise, making its offering easier to understand while preserving the identity and autonomy of each of its agencies:

CREATE

brings together the expertise of 87seconds Creative and Switching-Time in content creation, production and amplification;

DEPLOY

brings together Datawords and Wezen, focused on content orchestration, management and governance at a global scale;

MANAGE

brings together Vanksen and Whatsquare, focused on visibility, monitoring, digital performance and conversational experiences.

The 87seconds Creative, Switching-Time, Datawords, Wezen, Vanksen and Whatsquare brands will continue to operate under their respective identities, with their expertise, teams and organizations remaining intact.

We didn't change our name to change our image. We changed our name because we have changed. 87seconds represents 27 years of work, culture and conviction, now with a name that can finally carry everything we have become.
